Welcome to Curtain Workshop

FAQ

We can initially give an indicative price based on rough sizes via email or phone. Also try using our quotation tool (add link to quotation tool)

If you would like to arrange a complimentary in-person consultation, contact us to arrange a visit by one of our staff.

We initially measure and offer advice; this appointment is usually followed by a visit to our showroom to finalise material selections and look at samples.

At this time the Curtain Workshop is not currently accepting Curtain/Blind Repairs and Alterations due to the demand caused by the COVID 19 pandemic our workload is predominantly new projects.

These are approximate (please contact us directly for more up to date lead times)

Curtains 6 weeks

Roman Blinds 3-4 weeks

Roller, Venetian and Verticals 3-4 weeks

Shutters 14-16 weeks

Not at all. You are most welcome to source your own material and drop it to us to be made into Curtains, Blinds or Cushions. We only ask that the material is clean and suitable for its intended use.

Our Curtains and Roman Blinds will come with the option for them to be ‘Interlined’ this is a third layer we can add between the face fabric and the lining on the back of the Curtains. It creates better insulation and also encourages the Curtains to drape well. It has an additional cost if required and is a completely optional addition.

It is virtually impossible to achieve 100% Blackout.

When we price or include Blackout Lining on a project or estimate we are referring to the Lining we add to our Curtains/Blinds to stop light permeating through the material. Curtains and most blinds will always have some light seepage around the edges where there are gaps or no lining present.

If you are aiming to achieve the best Blackout solution possible ask us about our Cassetted Blackout Blinds.
